About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Plumbers for projects located in the Greecy, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $21-26/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- 3+ years of plumbing experience
Responsibilities
- Commercial and residential plumbing service work
- Install, maintain & repair residential or commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose issues
- Perform drain cleaning and ensure compliance with safety codes
- Troubleshoot leaks
- Repair and replace plumbing fixtures
- Identify and repair leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes, and faulty water heaters
- Assemble and install piping systems, plumbing fixtures, sinks, toilets, showers, and water-using appliances
- Communicate with customers to explain issues offering repair options and providing cost estimates
- Perform routine maintenance on sewage and water systems to prevent emergencies and ensure compliance with plumbing codes
- Be on-call to handle urgent after-hours repairs
