Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus continual training in our plumbing school, allowing you to earn while you learn and guiding you through the plumber licensing process for advancement.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills.
A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Change Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.

Responsibilities

Diagnose plumbing and drain problems and provide cost estimates to close the sale.
Perform sewer and drain cleaning services utilizing specialized Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.
Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
Collect monetary payment.
Engage in direct interactions with vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.
Conduct extensive driving to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
Enter customers’ residences to deliver reliable service while resolving plumbing issues.
