About The Position

Apprentice Plasterer Based at our regional office in Belmont, Durham, with set days out in the community and to attend college. This is a 24-month fixed term apprenticeship, with the potential for a permanent role at the end. What matters most is your potential, motivation and willingness to learn. You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.

Requirements

  • Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-3 (A-D)
  • Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
  • Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written
  • Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
  • Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
  • You don’t need previous experience; we’ll support you every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces and apply plaster to walls and ceilings in customers’ homes
  • Carry out both solid and fibrous plastering tasks
  • Work safely on site, following health and safety guidance
  • Use tools, equipment and materials correctly and responsibly
  • Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
  • Record work accurately and quality checks as part of your apprenticeship
