About The Position
Performance Honda Fairfield is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join their Parts Department as an Apprentice Parts Counter Professional. This is a hands-on, entry-level position for individuals eager to learn all aspects of the automotive parts business. You will start by learning the fundamentals of the inventory process and progress toward a customer-facing role at the parts counter. The company is dedicated to training and internal promotion.
Requirements
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills and a team player
Nice To Haves
- Interest in automotive parts and service is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks and accurately receive shipments
- Organize and put away inventory in proper locations
- Learn and follow safety procedures and inventory best practices
- Assist with driving and delivering parts to customers and service departments
- Support the parts team in day-to-day operations
- Progressively take on more responsibility, working up to the parts counter
- Eventually assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries and orders
