About The Position
Rogall + Co. is hiring Apprentice Painters on California's Central Coast. This is an opportunity to learn a trade and get paid while doing it. If you are dependable, willing to work with your hands, and want a career, we will teach you the skills needed. Rogall + Co. has been protecting coastal homes in and around Morro Bay since 2004 with expert paint and wood restoration. As an apprentice, you will learn from experienced craftspeople and build skills that will last a lifetime.
Requirements
- No painting experience necessary; a strong work ethic is most important.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and coachable.
- Comfortable with physical, outdoor work and working on ladders.
- Able to lift and carry more than 50 lbs.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Available for daytime jobsite hours, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities
- Prep surfaces including sanding, scraping, masking, and cleaning.
- Help apply primers, paints, and protective coatings on homes.
- Set up and break down jobsites safely and maintain cleanliness.
- Learn and execute the company's process for protecting homes from environmental factors.
- Support the crew and progress towards becoming a full Painter.
