Apprentice or Journey Lineworker - Harper
About The Position
Wheatland Electric is seeking a safety-minded individual to work mostly outdoors as an Apprentice or Journeyman Lineworker. This role involves on-the-job training for the safe and efficient construction, replacement, operations, and maintenance of Wheatland's electrical system. The position requires the ability to climb poles, perform pole top rescue, lift heavy objects, and work in extreme weather conditions. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and be detail-oriented. The successful candidate will work with the public and employees and must reside within the Harper service area. A post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background check, and driver's license check will be required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- CDL Physical Card for operating commercial vehicles
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to live within the Harper service area
