About The Position

Volkswagen of New Port Richey is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role involves performing minor maintenance such as changing engine oil and filters, conducting complete vehicle maintenance inspections (tires, brakes, fluid levels), and communicating repair recommendations to the service advisor liaison. The dealership is part of Lithia & Driveway, a large dealership group with over 350 locations nationwide, offering numerous opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
