About The Position

This is a hands-on, entry-level position designed for individuals who want to learn the fundamentals of vehicle maintenance and build a long-term career in automotive service. As a Hyundai Apprentice Lube Technician, you'll work alongside our service team performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire services, inspections, and other basic maintenance repairs. This is not a master technician apprenticeship, but rather an opportunity to gain real-world experience and develop the skills needed to grow within a dealership service department. Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive maintenance.
Previous lube technician, quick lube, tire shop, or automotive experience.
Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections, including checking tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and fluid levels.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate identified maintenance needs to Service Advisors and team leaders.
Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
Assist technicians and service team members as needed while developing automotive skills.
