About The Position
Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role provides a full training program to develop skills from apprentice to jeweler, with the opportunity to progress toward becoming a Bench Jeweler in a promote-from-within environment. Apprentices learn the business through administrative and customer-service responsibilities, including interacting with stores and customers, completing clerical tasks, photographing jewelry for intake and tracking, and learning the basics of jewelry repair through polishing and quality control. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are those with a passion and desire to learn the trade. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Requirements
- Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
- High standard for quality work.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
- Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred but not required.
- High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime.
