With a team of over 170 employees (throughout the provinces), we are continuously expanding and strengthening our workforce across all divisions to support our growth and maintain the high level of service our customers expect and deserve. We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Apprentice to join our growing team. Open positions focus on commercial and industrial refrigeration service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple sites throughout the Nova Scotia area.

Requirements

313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Apprentice
Minimum 2 years of commercial Refrigeration/HVAC experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with gas heating, refrigeration systems, and airflow principles
Ability to work independently and manage service calls
Willing and able to work overtime, as required
Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
Gas license required
ODP certification required

Responsibilities

Strong diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair refrigeration equipment and rooftop units
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R schematics and blueprints
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards and legislation
Other duties as assigned
