About The Position

Brunel Security, part of the Obsequio Group, has over 30 years of experience in delivering tailored fire and security solutions across the UK. Based in Bristol, they specialize in designing and installing a comprehensive range of security systems for both commercial and industrial applications. As an apprentice small works engineer, you would work on installing, upgrading, and modifying fire and security systems. This includes adding new devices, replacing existing equipment, expanding existing systems, and carrying out small installation projects. As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain, and fault-find on various systems including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Perimeter Security Systems, and Remote Monitoring. The role also involves testing and maintenance.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ due to certain site requirements
• Must hold a valid UK driving license due to travel requirements of the role
• A solid understanding of basic IT
• Reliable, good time keeping and an effective team player
• Maths and English at Grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

• Basic practical electric or engineering skills would be a bonus
• Work/site based experience would be highly desirable
