About The Position
The Pokagon Band Apprenticeship Program is a 12-week program for Pokagon Band Citizens seeking to gain knowledge and experience within a department of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Government. This is an on-site position with an hourly rate of $17 working with Facilities & Maintenance. The Facilities department is responsible for the upkeep, management, maintenance, and cleanliness of grounds and surrounding areas. This position involves physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, and pushing or pulling heavier equipment as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check and drug screening (including marijuana) is required.
- Resume with education and work history.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Meet insurance eligibility requirements.
- Ability to operate Pokagon Band vehicles.
