About The Position

Mister Sparky is looking for motivated Apprentice Electricians who want to learn the trade, develop their skills, and grow alongside experienced electricians. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work hard, this could be the start of a long-term career. The ideal apprentice shows up early, listens, works hard, learns fast, and stays safe. Technical skills are secondary to attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Mister Sparky offers consistent and reliable work, direct learning from experienced electricians, support for tracking hours toward Journeyman licensing, and a team-oriented culture focused on growth. The company has over 150 electricians across multiple locations. Many leaders at Mister Sparky started in the field and advanced into roles such as Lead Electrician, Field Supervisor, and Operations Leadership. The typical timeline to Journeyman is 2–4 years depending on experience and licensing progress. Most work involves residential service, helping homeowners diagnose and repair electrical issues, with occasional remodel work.

Requirements

• 1+ years as a licensed apprentice
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous residential electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with residential electrical service calls
• Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in homes
• Assist with installing outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and wiring
• Support electricians during residential remodel projects
• Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and safe
• Interact professionally with homeowners
