About The Position

Shanahan Mechanical & Electrical is looking for a full-time Apprentice Electrician in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position offers an opportunity to learn the electrical construction trade from an industry leader. The role involves assisting electricians with various tasks, material handling, working from ladders, and complying with all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Local travel may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• State of Nebraska electrical apprentice license or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to read tape measure and construction documents
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check if applicable
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years recent apprentice electrician experience (for $2000 hiring bonus)

Responsibilities

• Assists electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
