About The Position
FLINT is seeking Apprentice Electricians with 1 year or more of experience for multiple jobs in Grande Prairie starting August 17, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy various shifts and schedules depending on the client, 8-hour workdays, local to Grande Prairie, and benefits after 300+ hours worked. This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in industrial or maintenance.
- Valid Apprentice Electrician certificate/ticket.
- H2S Alive safety ticket.
- Aerial Work Platform safety ticket.
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- Fall Protection safety ticket.
- Standard First Aid certification.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical work in industrial or maintenance settings.
- Operate and maintain electrical systems and critical infrastructure.
- Ensure operations run safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and mandatory safety ticket requirements.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Utilize reliable transportation to reach the site.
- Complete drug and alcohol testing as required for this safety-sensitive position.
