About The Position

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical systems and installations with the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in various electrical tasks including reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) preferred. The Apprentice Electrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services in both residential and light commercial settings. Responsibilities Perform all electrical work in compliance with state and local electrical codes. Perform residential service calls to diagnose and resolve electrical issues or replacements. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and time management. Complete all estimates and notes in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain properly clean and stocked service vehicle. Attend bi-weekly departmental and occasional company meetings. Participate in periodic inventory and truck inspections. Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use all tools in a safety conscious manner. Explain the service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Explain Care Plan Membership Agreements to every client. Document Price Book task codes on all invoices for each diagnostic, repair, and installation performed. Call in for POs for any materials picked up at suppliers and send pick tickets into Purchasing department. Provide pricing to the customer for approval prior to performing any work. Maximize lead opportunities based on company’s business plan. Participate in all company-sponsored training classes. Always maintain a professional image by wearing only company approved and provided apparel; following safety policies and procedures; abiding by ALL company standards of performance and code of ethics; maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates; maintaining company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out; and respecting the customer’s property. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minumum Qualifications and Experience for Apprentice Electrician Valid driver's license and excellent driving record Ability to pass drug screenings and background check High school diploma or GED Residential electrical service experience Knowledge of local and national electrical codes Experience with reading blueprints and basic cost estimating Strong oral and reading skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Proficient multitasking and adaptability Team player with positive attitude Ability to use smartphone and iPad Physical Demands and Work Environment for Apprentice Electrician Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb in and out of box trucks & vans Ability to climb ladders of all kinds and work on the roof of a house Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week as necessary to meet specific organizational requirements Working Environment: Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to work on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for extended periods. May work in confined or awkward spaces, carrying necessary equipment and supplies. Exposure to sensory demands including but not limited to sounds from power tools and dust and debris which may cause sensory strain including headaches. Dress code – uniforms are provided and must be worn. Requirements

Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
Ability to pass drug screenings and background check
High school diploma or GED
Residential electrical service experience
Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
Experience with reading blueprints and basic cost estimating
Strong oral and reading skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
