About The Position
Apprentice Electricians play a critical role in supporting projects that power the facilities and infrastructure that keep communities and businesses running. From conduit installation and equipment setting to system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs, your craftsmanship ensures electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. At RK Industries, you’ll perform the full range of electrical duties on active construction sites, supporting Journeymen and Foremen through quality workmanship, code-compliant installations, layout and planning, material coordination, and electrical problem-solving. Requirements
- Apprentice Electrician license, currently in 3rd or 4th-year of apprenticeship
- Electrical installation experience in data center, mission-critical, commercial or industrial construction
- Commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and accountability
- Ability to support crew productivity and provide guidance to 1st/2nd-year apprentice installers
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings and designs, installation, repair and maintenance of low to medium voltage electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment and systems in commercial, mission-critical, data center, and industrial settings.
- Install conduit, raceways, junction boxes, panels, switches, outlets, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Maintain compliance with national and local ordinances, codes, regulations, and policies.
