1st Electric Contractors is an industry-leading, full-service electrical contractor specializing in mixed-use residential/commercial buildings as well as site infrastructure and development. 1st Electric has been serving the Denver Metro Area and mountain communities since 2002. Requirements

  • Must have personal tools as per the company tool policy.
  • Shall be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to manage time, be team oriented, and be a self-starter.
  • Must be willing to learn and have strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate a construction project.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must be familiar with company safety policies and O.S.H.A. safety standards and apply them at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Electrician.
  • Keeps the work area clean.
  • Acquires the skills of an Electrician as quickly as possible and puts the skills to work.
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure that all workmanship on the job conforms to company and industry quality standards.
  • Arrives at work on time and ready to work.
  • Takes direction and works efficiently.
  • Understands that he or she is often the voice and face of the company and ensures that the company is always well represented – this includes appearance, the spoken word, work ethics and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Installs fixtures, devices, wiring, gear, conduit, and motors.
  • Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Foreman or the Electrician to whom he or she has reports.
