About The Position

As an Apprentice Electrician, Manufacturing, you will gain hands-on experience installing, assembling, inspecting, and testing electrical systems used in mission-critical infrastructure solutions. Working under the guidance of Journeyman and Master Electricians, you will develop the technical skills and trade knowledge needed to grow your career in the electrical industry. In this role, you will support the production of electrical equipment used in data centers, modular infrastructure, and industrial applications while learning electrical installation techniques, industry codes, quality standards, and safe work practices. Your contributions will help ensure Accelevation delivers high-quality products safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Enrolled in or eligible to participate in a certified electrical apprenticeship program where required
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles, terminology, and construction practices
  • Willingness to learn the National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and industry standards
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while working under appropriate supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions
  • Basic knowledge of electrical hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
  • Basic knowledge of conduit installation and bending techniques
  • Ability to safely operate electrical installation tools and equipment
  • Ability to operate personnel lifts and work in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with overtime and alternate shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous electrical, construction, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled-trades experience
  • Exposure to data center infrastructure, modular systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, or industrial electrical systems
  • OSHA certification
  • NFPA 70E training or certification
  • Technical, vocational, or electrical coursework

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduit, lighting, panels, controls, and related equipment
  • Perform basic electrical installation activities such as pulling wire, drilling holes, mounting electrical boxes, routing conduit, and preparing materials
  • Work under the direction of Journeyman and Master Electricians to complete assigned work safely and accurately
  • Learn and follow applicable electrical codes, customer requirements, engineering specifications, and Accelevation quality standards
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions as skills develop
  • Assist with electrical inspections, testing, and verification activities throughout the manufacturing process
  • Identify potential installation or quality concerns and escalate issues appropriately
  • Support troubleshooting and corrective actions under the supervision of qualified electricians
  • Participate in apprenticeship coursework, technical training, and on-the-job learning opportunities
  • Learn the proper operation, inspection, maintenance, and care of electrical tools and equipment
  • Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and electrical safe work practices
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or work practices
  • Collaborate with electricians, assemblers, technicians, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Communicate production status, material needs, and job-related issues clearly with supervisors and team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles
  • Accurately document completed work, testing activities, and materials used
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardized work practices
  • Demonstrate flexibility to support overtime, alternate shifts, and changing production needs
  • Perform work in a fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environment
