About The Position

The Industrial I&E Apprentice 2 assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and fixtures. The position is based at the Texas Gulf Coast, Sweeny, TX site and functionally reports to the Superintendent. This is a per-diem role.

Requirements

• Hold an Electrical Apprentice License, including a State of Texas Electrical Apprentice License.
• Have at least 1 year of experience as an Industrial Electrical Helper.
• Have basic knowledge of electrical construction processes.
• Be able to follow instructions correctly.
• Be able to work at heights greater than 300 feet.
• Be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
• Be able to arrive at work on time and work the designated schedule and overtime as needed with proper notification.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Pass a drug and background check.
• Have strong team-building and influencing skills.
• Use good judgment and think sustainably for the long term in a growing company with critical long-term client relationships.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, timely decision-making, effective communication, adaptability, efficient time management, and the ability to prioritize and plan work.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship from Norrell Construction.
