About The Position

In this apprentice role, you'll partner with application teams, platform engineering, and architecture groups to support the transition from a legacy deployment platform to infrastructure-as-code and modern cloud-native technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Basic programming/scripting experience (Python, Java, Go, or similar)
• Foundational understanding of software development or cloud concepts
• Strong interest in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback

• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas for improvement

Responsibilities

• Assist and improve infrastructure-as-code solutions in AWS via Terraform
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance productivity
• Work closely with senior engineers to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions
• Support the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle
• Document processes, tools, and workflows to support team knowledge sharing
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging infrastructure and application issues with guidance from senior engineers
