We are currently recruiting for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to be based in on our Vancouver, British Columbia facility. All AMEs will be responsible to Crew Chief for the completion of the maintenance and repair tasks assigned to them. All while ensuring compliance with Babcock Canada’s MPM and the Canadian Aviation regulations. In this role, you will: Work efficiently alone and as part of a team to conduct scheduled maintenance tasks under the guidance of a licensed AME. Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft mechanical systems under the guidance of a licensed AME. Monitor and complete task cards and work cards in CAMP. Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment. Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for tasks/jobs. Maintain a clean and productive work area. Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards). Read, understand, and adhere to the Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM. Utilize the Company reporting system to report any hazard, incident, or accident. Enter labour in the labour tracking system accurately for all tasks performed. Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
