About The Position
Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Works under moderate supervision to perform basic aircraft maintenance tasks. The role involves carrying out routine maintenance safely and promptly, completing maintenance paperwork and on-the-job training documentation, and communicating work progress and difficulties to coworkers and leadership.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must have full color vision and visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses.
- Ability to handle and climb ladders and aircraft stairs.
- Ability to perform the listed physical activities, including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- FAA Airframe or Powerplant license, or enrollment in a Part 147 school.
- Previous aviation and/or mechanical experience.
Responsibilities
- Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work safely and in a timely manner.
- Accurately complete required maintenance-related paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel at all levels, keeping coworkers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties.
- Complete on-the-job training forms and required reading in a timely manner.
