About The Position
Vision Government Solutions is seeking qualified and experienced Residential and Commercial Real Estate Appraisers to join their expanding team. The company provides mass appraisal software and services to local, county, and state governments. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, quick-learning team player, comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- High school Diploma
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn with on job training.
Nice To Haves
- Mass appraisal or fee appraisal experience a plus.
- Ohio Appraisal License or Trainee a plus.
Responsibilities
- Complete an on parcel field review of property data via available resources to assure the quality of existing data and the uniform treatment of properties within similar neighborhoods of the project.
- Assist the Project Manager in the development and implementation of valuation parameters and valuation modeling for each project as assigned.
- Interact professionally and tactfully with taxpayers during the informal hearing process, completing hearing forms and investigating discrepancies or inaccuracies reported by the taxpayer.
- Maintain positive relations with the clients, the general public and company personnel.
