Requirements

Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail for reading, interpreting, and transcribing data accurately.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills for engaging with customers and team members.
Completion of CarMax training and participation in scheduled meetings.
Physical capability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, including outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while wearing CarMax-provided work attire.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every interaction.
Build rapport quickly with diverse customers and confidently explain the CarMax appraisal process.
Communicate effectively in-person and by phone to understand customer motivations and follow up with undecided sellers.
Advocate for CarMax, clearly sharing why we’re the smart choice for selling a car.
Facilitate appraisal steps, including discovery, presenting offers, and addressing objections.
Accurately collect and input data to support precise appraisal offers and maintain composure under pressure, ensuring a positive experience in challenging situations.
Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
