Job Summary:
Learns and performs entry-level concrete finishing tasks under close supervision. Supports crew operations by assisting with surface preparation, tool handling, and cleanup while developing skills in screeding, troweling, and curing. Participates in hands-on learning to build knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, safety practices, and jobsite operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 0–2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related trade required.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in setup, pouring, and basic finishing of concrete under direct supervision.
• Prepares and maintains work areas, tools, and materials for concrete finishing operations.
• Supports crew in applying basic finishing techniques such as edging, floating, and curing.
• Follows safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment at all times.
• Participates in on-the-job training to develop trade knowledge and proficiency.
• Cleans up and maintains finishing tools and equipment after each use.
• Works cooperatively with team members to complete assigned work efficiently.
