About The Position
We are looking for an experienced ApplinX Web Developer / Java Developer to support the maintenance and modernization of legacy applications using Software AG ApplinX. The consultant will maintain and enhance ApplinX web applications, support testing and implementation, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with client staff, and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team. Apply if you have strong hands-on ApplinX + Java experience and have worked with legacy application modernization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Java development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ApplinX, preferably Version 11+
- Experience with JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
- Strong experience with Adabas
- Experience with RHEL/Linux
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services
- Experience with QA/testing and troubleshooting
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements
- Knowledge of Agile development
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Nice To Haves
- Jira is a plus
- SQL Server experience is preferred
