Requirements

  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
  • Master's degree or above in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and self-developed code
  • Have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
  • PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields
  • Experience developing and operating computational biology workflows

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and operate scalable bioinformatics analysis workflows on AWS
  • Evaluate and incorporate novel bioinformatic approaches to solve critical business problems
  • Originate and lead the development of new data collection workflows with cross-functional partners
  • Partner with laboratory science teams on design and analysis of experiments
