About The Position

We’re hiring an Applied ML Engineer to own model training, evaluation, and deployment across our core creative AI stack. You’ll work directly with the founding team on post-training, reward modeling, and building the evaluation systems that teach our models what “taste” actually means. This is not a research-only role. We want someone who loves shipping models to production, iterating fast on real data, and owning the full loop from training to eval to user feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years applied ML experience, ideally at an AI-native startup or research-adjacent product team
• Shipped models that real users touch (not just papers)
• Thinks in terms of loops — data → train → eval → ship → feedback → repeat
• Has an aesthetic sensibility, or at least strong opinions about when something looks great vs. generic
• Gets energized by ambiguous problems where “quality” isn’t easily measured
• LLM / generative experience

Responsibilities

• Post-training and fine-tuning on creative/design datasets (visual + code + brand)
• Building reward models and evaluators for subjective quality (taste, aesthetics, on-brandness)
• Running experiments across SFT, DPO, RLHF — whatever the problem needs
• Collaborating with our expert designer community to turn human judgment into training signal
• Owning the eval harness: how we know a model is actually better
