This apprenticeship is designed for students actively pursuing their BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification, offering supervised practice and hands-on learning in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The ABA Apprentice supports BCBAs by providing direct and indirect services within the ABA department. Under BCBA supervision, the Apprentice assists with treatment, evaluation, supervision, and parent training to address behavior challenges and skill development in children. This program provides structured, hands-on experience to build clinical competence and gradually increase independence while accruing supervision hours toward Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. Apprentices also function as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and are required to maintain a minimum saturation level of 60% combined RBT Direct and BCBA Billable Hours weekly. RBT Competencies must be met before beginning Apprentice Competencies.
