Applied AI Product Engineer (Base Up to $260K + Equity)
About The Position
We are seeking an Applied AI Product Engineer, ideally with startup experience at Seed to Series B companies, to join a high-performing team building autonomous AI agents that help companies test and improve digital experiences. Backed by several million dollars in venture funding and experiencing strong customer demand, the company is scaling rapidly and building the next generation of AI-powered software testing. You'll work on cutting-edge AI systems that combine large language models, browser automation, and full-stack product development to solve real-world problems, while owning projects end-to-end across infrastructure and customer-facing products.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of professional software engineering experience in a product-focused environment.
- Strong experience building full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks such as Next.js.
- Demonstrated ability to own projects from concept through production deployment.
- Familiarity with large language models, AI agents, or other applied AI technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice To Haves
- Startup experience, ideally at Seed to Series B companies, with a track record of operating effectively in fast-moving environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features spanning frontend applications, backend services, AI systems, and infrastructure.
- Develop and enhance autonomous AI agents capable of navigating applications, adapting to UI changes, and identifying product issues.
- Build and maintain browser automation and orchestration systems that power large-scale testing workflows.
- Partner directly with customers to understand pain points, gather feedback, and quickly deliver impactful product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product strategy, roadmap priorities, and technical decisions.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and developer experience across the platform.
