About The Position

ComCap is a boutique investment bank specializing in M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory for technology and digital commerce companies. We’re seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build practical AI tools and automation across investment banking, research, and operations. You’ll work with our teams to turn business needs into reliable, integrated workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of software development or automation experience, including at least 1 year building AI applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with APIs and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications using OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, including integration with business systems and validation of AI outputs.
• Familiarity with document processing and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong English communication skills and availability during US business hours.

Nice To Haves

• Financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI solutions for company research, document analysis, meeting summaries, and reporting.
• Integrate AI with internal systems, CRM platforms, and company data.
• Automate recurring tasks and measure improvements in efficiency and accuracy.
• Validate AI outputs, implement human review where needed, and protect confidential information.
• Maintain solutions, document processes, and train team members.
