About The Position
SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company focused on creating 5-star rated lifestyle solutions. The company is building an AI-native culture and is looking for early career talent to join its SharkByte program, an AI-native early talent initiative designed for builders who want to learn by doing and see their work in production. As an intern, you will be at the center of SharkNinja’s company-wide AI transformation, working on high-impact, cross-functional business problems that drive measurable impact. Interns are embedded into real initiatives with ownership and direct collaboration with technical and business leaders, using AI and analytics to turn data into insights. This experience is part of SharkNinja’s Jailbreak AI initiative and provides access to AI tools like Claude Enterprise and a personal AWS sandbox. The program is designed for students with experience in software engineering, AI/ML, full-stack development, automation, or data analytics. Interns also participate in Early Edge programming focused on mentorship, networking, and professional development, with opportunities for return offers or future full-time positions. Participants receive a SharkByte AI Certification.
Requirements
- Current student in a related bachelor's or master’s or PhD program or has graduated from such a program within the past year
- Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in either Miami, FL or Needham, MA
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
- Experience actively building with AI tools (LLMs, automation workflows, or agent frameworks), not just using them
- Experience working with real-world or messy datasets
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools through coursework or projects
- Ability to approach problems in a structured and logical way
- Interest in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce

Responsibilities
- Support the scoping and analysis of business questions by gathering and organizing relevant data
- Write AI prompts and assist in data cleaning and preparation
- Design and iterate on AI prompts to extract actionable insights from business data
- Help build dashboards, reports, or simple models used by internal teams through the use of AI tools
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights within datasets through AI
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and support analytical workflows
- Contribute to agentic workflow prototypes that automate manual, high-friction business processes
- Contribute to materials that communicate findings to stakeholders
- Help identify data gaps or inconsistencies and flag opportunities for improvement
