About The Position

This position manages a technical team to implement and maintain applications for DHHS. In addition to interacting with business partners, this position coordinates with IT directors and other IT managers, and representatives from other state agencies and federal partners. The position will work closely with key stakeholders including project sponsors, executives, business SMEs, end-users, and key technical resources involved with implementation, security, and Enterprise Architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field or other related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five years progressive experience including at least two years of experience in programming and applications analysis or related work OR Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or other related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and six years progressive experience including at least two years of experience in programming and applications analysis or related work OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise knowledge of Claims, Finance, Data Analytics and Federal reporting(T-MSIS) for Medicaid Business.
  • Strong foundation in traditional and Agile methodologies.
  • PMP, CSM, or SAFe certifications are desirable.
  • Experience with Health Care related knowledge in Medicaid and Managed Care line of Business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and actively participate in hands-on development of Medicaid Enterprise (MES) modules.
  • Provide technical direction across the full system development life cycle—requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and enforce enterprise architectural patterns; contribute technical expertise during system design and modernization initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic planning and provide technical leadership to align application strategy with organizational goals.
