About The Position

Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking a full-time Applications Manager in Santa Clara, California to be responsible for managing the technical support staff who, in turn, support the company's sales staff and customers after product release.

Requirements

  • Managing the technical support staff on Ethernet projects
  • Providing, presenting and interpreting design, application and service information
  • Ensuring product specifications and applications are usable by a specific customer
  • Exploring the business feasibility of general marketing
  • Ensuring the application/solution is functioning according to specifications
  • Establishing and maintaining lines of communication with systems and design engineering on issues such as design considerations for product reliability
  • Managing teams that provide services to a global customer base
  • Managing teams that define next-generation products
  • Managing multiple engineering teams across multiple locations

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for managing the technical support staff on Ethernet projects; Provides, presents and interprets design, application and service information;
  • Ensure product specifications and applications usable by a specific customer and explores the business feasibility of general marketing;
  • Ensures the application/solution is functioning according to specifications;
