As an Applications Laboratory Support Specialist, you will perform essential laboratory operations while supporting application development for light scattering instruments and related Waters products. Requirements

Postsecondary degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
Familiarity with laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and standard lab practices.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, including light scattering systems and related equipment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ordering laboratory supplies and receiving customer samples.
Coordinate safe handling and disposal of laboratory waste in partnership with HSE.
Resolve routine laboratory and instrument issues; coordinate service visits and preventative maintenance as needed.
Conduct routine laboratory experiments and standardized procedures to support application development.
Accurately document experimental procedures, observations, and results.
Support cross functional teams with instrument setup, sample preparation, and testing activities.
Assist with internal and external training activities.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers on feasibility studies and product soak testing.
Provide input on opportunities to improve laboratory workflows, organization, and procedures.
