About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly capable Applications & Integrations Developer to join their growing technology team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded developer who enjoys building integrations, automating business processes, developing internal applications, and working across the full technology stack. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining business-critical systems that power daily operations while collaborating with multiple departments to deliver scalable technical solutions. The Applications & Integrations Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems, developing custom applications, automating workflows, and supporting business intelligence initiatives. This position requires someone who is equally comfortable working with backend services, APIs, databases, ERP customizations, reporting, and modern development frameworks. The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with excellent problem-solving abilities, a passion for automation, and the technical curiosity to quickly learn new platforms. While previous NetSuite experience is beneficial, exceptional developers with strong integration experience and the ability to learn SuiteScript are highly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Mid-level experience as an Applications Developer, Software Developer, Integration Developer, or Full-Stack Developer
Strong proficiency in Python
Solid experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience developing backend services using Node.js and Express
Strong SQL skills with experience designing and querying relational databases
Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party systems
Strong understanding of OAuth authentication, SFTP, and API integrations
Experience working with Git and modern software development practices
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team

Nice To Haves

Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript 2.x
Experience writing SuiteQL
Experience integrating with the Shopify Admin API
Experience with Microsoft Graph API
Experience working with EDI integrations
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite, or SQL Server
Experience building reporting solutions using Power BI and DAX

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain internal business applications and web portals.
Develop scalable backend services using Python, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Build modern frontend applications using Vue.js and JavaScript.
Create reusable components and maintain high-quality, well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development standards.
Develop and maintain custom NetSuite scripts using SuiteScript 2.x.
Build custom business workflows, automations, and ERP enhancements.
Create SuiteQL queries and support custom reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve ERP functionality and business processes.
Learn and expand NetSuite expertise if coming from a strong integrations background.
Design and build reliable integrations between enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and API wrappers.
Build integrations using OAuth, SFTP, EDI, XML, CSV, and other common data exchange methods.
Develop resilient integration workflows with retries, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
Support integrations with eCommerce platforms, Microsoft services, logistics providers, and external business applications.
Design and implement business process automation using Python and serverless technologies.
Build automated workflows using tools such as n8n or Windmill.
Develop scheduled automation and background processing services.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation.
Design and maintain SQL databases supporting operational applications.
Develop reporting databases and data pipelines.
Build Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
Write advanced SQL queries with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Support frontend applications with scalable database architecture.
Deploy and maintain applications using Docker and cloud infrastructure.
Support application hosting and deployment environments.
Maintain version control using Git and follow development best practices.
Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
