Applications Engineer
About The Position
Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is a rapidly growing leader in the Semiconductor industry, specializing in Integrated Power Semiconductors and Systems Power delivery architectures. As an Applications Engineer, you will serve as a technical liaison, supporting customers in the design and application of MPS products. Your role will involve troubleshooting system applications, resolving engineering issues, evaluating customer requirements, and administering technical aspects of proposals. You will also represent MPS at seminars, conferences, and meetings to promote the company's offerings.
Requirements
- BS/BE or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Good understanding of schematics, layouts (pcb design tools) and experience with laboratory equipment to analyze analog circuits
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience in analog power management electronics, DCDC converter design & implementation, passive selection
Responsibilities
- Work as a technical liaison in the field to support customers in design and application of the company’s products
- Troubleshoot system applications on customer's request
- Resolve other engineering issues regarding systems application
- Evaluate the customer's requirement regarding systems application
- Administer the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly as instructed
- Participate in different seminars, conferences, and meetings for promotion to represent MPS in the field
