About The Position

To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Industrial X-Ray Systems division at the San Jose site as a Applications Engineer - X-ray & CT. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience using Dragonfly 3D World image analysis software.
  • Basic understanding of X-ray technology and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Ability to clearly present technical information and conduct customer training sessions.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% for customer training, technical demonstrations, and trade shows.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 3+ years of relevant experience in applications engineering.
  • Preferred knowledge of industrial imaging X-ray processes, especially in Semiconductor and Surface Mount Technology (SMT).

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate DR and CT systems online, during on-site customer visits, and at trade shows.
  • Conduct internal and external application training sessions; deliver application services to strategic customers
  • Optimize existing application methods to improve performance.
  • Provide consulting support during project execution and acceptance phases.
  • Document application results and prepare detailed reports.
  • Provide ongoing customer support after system commissioning.
