Applications Engineer
About The Position
This role involves leading and providing technical responsibility for the development of the foundation brake for new and existing programs. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for gathering customer vehicle parameters, packaging data, and engineering requirements, as well as evaluating new program technical requirements and performing brake system analysis. The position also includes managing customer reviews, internal drawing releases, and assisting with technical presentations and quote submissions. Support for customer program requirements like APQP and PPAP, as well as assisting customer and plant personnel during production ramp-up and series production, is crucial. The role also entails supporting customer engineering problem resolution related to quality and warranty, participating in customer test activities and vehicle builds, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Applications Engineer will oversee prototype build and delivery. Periodic travel is required.

Responsibilities
- Lead and technical responsibility for the development of the foundation brake of new and existing programs
