About The Position

The Career Accelerator Program (CAP) at Texas Instruments (TI) provides professional and technical training to accelerate your integration into TI and ensure long-term career success. This program includes function-specific technical training and hands-on learning opportunities. As an Applications Engineer in Industrial High-Performance Radar, you will be part of a motivated team focused on customer success. Your role will involve promoting TI products, providing technical solutions for industrial automation, A&D, and robotics, and supporting customers in defining new products. You will focus on making mmWave ICs user-friendly and easy to implement. The Radar BU is a leader in integrated RFCMOS radar technology with a broad portfolio in 60GHz and 77GHz. This role requires expertise in software and applications support. You will also gain exposure to Product Marketing and Systems & Digital Marketing through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.

Nice To Haves

• C language programming experience.
• Matlab or python knowledge.
• Peripheral knowledge of SPI, CAN, Ethernet.
• Some experience with ARM Cortex-M Microcontroller.
• Signal Processing basics.
• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components.
• Experience with lab equipment, like oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.

Responsibilities

• Promote TI products and provide technical solutions to customers.
• Support customers in industrial automation, A&D, and robotics consumer products.
• Provide technical support and engage with customers to define new products and opportunities for future product development.
• Solve customer problems related to making mmWave ICs easy to use, implement, and productize.
• Gain exposure to other roles such as Product Marketing, and Systems & Digital Marketing.
