About The Position

The Senior Engineer, Applications supports Project Managers in the planning and execution of complex projects. This role leads the development of technical plans and estimates, sources of materials and alternatives, and coordinates handoffs between the design and production teams. This position also serves as a key technical resource, resolving project-related questions from engineering and other teams while ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables. Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
Decisive leadership style with strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to think conceptually and apply practical, real-world solutions
Strong self-motivation, work ethic, and drive for career growth

Nice To Haves

Higher education in engineering (or related field) preferred
Previous experience in industrial controls preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Project Managers to lead the development of detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, resource requirements, bill of materials (BOMs), and other supporting documentation
Analyze bid and specification documents to perform takeoffs and generate accurate cost estimates
Lead the development of project plans and estimates for open-specification proposals, applying advanced technical judgment
Recommend and specify appropriate hardware and instrumentation suitable for complex applications
Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor and manage project costs, schedules, and overall performance
Serve as a liaison between engineering and production teams, helping coordinate activities and resolve technical challenges efficiently
Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.
Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.
Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.
Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
