About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. This role involves creating, proofing, and implementing technical designs, and developing Abinitio graphs. The analyst will conduct plans to extract, transform, and load ETL data from various sources based on business requirements, maintaining up-to-date documentation. Extensive knowledge of Abinitio, Oracle, Unix, and scripting languages is required to design applications and solutions. The position executes engineering design and development activities to support the automated processing of corporate action events globally. Responsibilities include building and testing applications using test cases and plans, developing utilities and data processing services with associated back-end database structures for scalable operations, and designing and implementing engineering best practices for performance tuning, automated testing, and monitoring solutions. The role also involves executing end-of-vendor software upgrades and disaster recovery, and ensuring effective processes for code deployment. The analyst will engage with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide engineering support. A key responsibility is developing strategic plans to migrate applications from Ab initio to the Python platform. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Big Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation developing applications.
• Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing, developing, and implementing code to meet business requirements using technologies including Ab Initio, Unix, and SQL.
• Performing application development and ensuring adherence to industry standard SDLC guidelines.
• Building jobs using Python Data Integration jobs and enhancing framework adhering to ETL standards.
• Designing and delivering ETL solutions focused on expanding and maintaining a centralized reference data platform.
• Developing Ab Initio graphs and plans using Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Co-Op with continuous and batch processing along with Data Quality checks applied.
• Scheduling and troubleshooting Autosys jobs to ensure correct and complete continuous production system function.
• In the alternative, a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and three (3) years of experience will be accepted. Pre- or post- Master’s degree experience is acceptable.
