About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. This role is responsible for advanced data visualization, dashboard development, and analytical reporting using Tableau Desktop and Server. The analyst will create reports using BI Tools and Python development, specifically for automating the ingestion and processing of data from various feeds and APIs into PostgreSQL databases. This includes the comprehensive preparation and timely delivery of critical monthly and quarterly business reports. The role involves partnering with multiple management teams to ensure the appropriate integration of functions by creating reports using the Tableau Reporting tool and performing data transformation using SQL Server and Python. The analyst will identify and define necessary systems to display reports for the PM Community by automating manual efforts and tracking daily changes. Responsibilities include resolving high impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. The role also involves developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation for software applications, ensuring application designs adhere to the overall architecture of reporting needs on PM related activities using an automated approach for loading files and displaying them on a Tableau Report. Additionally, the analyst will design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design, determine system performance standards, and prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. The role includes developing or directing software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation, and conferring with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces. The analyst will serve as an advisor to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Specialist Data Engineering, Tableau Developer, Technical Support, IT Analyst or related position developing Tableau reports and dashboards for financial applications.
  • 6 years of experience must include: Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server; Oracle, DB2, Informatica, Autosys, UNIX Scripting; Creating and documenting standard operating procedures for enterprise monitoring.
  • Additionally, 5 years of experience must include: SQL and Database Management Systems; Python and ETL.
