About The Position

Drew Marine is seeking an energetic, self-starting IT professional to build and support applications using technologies including C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server. The Applications Developer will contribute to an IT team designing and introducing applications that provide value to a growing global company. The role is part of an enterprise IT team that deploys new technology applications and supports existing applications. The developer will help ensure design standards are met, testing is appropriate and complete, business process procedures are technically accurate, and development and validation standards are followed. The position is based in a climate-controlled office, with occasional travel to Drew Marine international regional offices as projects require.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience, including experience with .NET technologies.
• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, MS DevOps, and MS Visual Studio.
• MVC and Blazer application development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Proven analytical skills and application development experience.
• Strong ability to manage tasks and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A college degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess business requirements and develop functional and technical design specifications using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Execute application development independently and as part of a project team.
• Assess variances from project plans and develop and implement changes to complete responsibilities on time and within cost and quality objectives.
• Provide application expertise and train users to increase their knowledge and use of applications.
• Help troubleshoot and remediate application issues to minimize business disruption.
• Lead teams as assigned in the development and delivery of applications.
• Develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with business sectors, business partners, and support teams.
• Support deployment of new technology applications and existing applications while ensuring design standards, testing, technical accuracy of business process procedures, and adherence to development and validation standards.
