Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application delivery and network administration.
Comprehensive experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining application delivery network (ADN) systems and technologies.
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) essential for application delivery, load balancing mechanisms, and adherence to security best practices in system administration.
Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
Location: Onsite
Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix NetScaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day system administration tasks to ensure the health, capacity, and reliability of application delivery network and load balancing systems.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to application delivery services or network configurations.
Assist with evaluating and recommending network optimization and application acceleration techniques to enhance system efficiency.
Support application delivery and load balancing systems in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based environments, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
Utilize advanced tools and analytics to identify and resolve system or network issues impacting application delivery performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and workflows associated with application delivery system administration.
Employ automation and orchestration tools to streamline configuration management, monitoring, and maintenance tasks for application delivery systems.
