The Department of Children and Families, Office of Information Technology Services, is looking for a talented Front-end Web Developer to join our growing team! In this role, you will be a crucial player in modernizing our agency websites (both internal and external). Our ideal candidate will be passionate about mobile responsive design, empowering our end users, improving user experience, and driving modernization through SharePoint technologies. Your job will include the continuous improvement of these platforms, in terms of reliability, scalability, and new products and features. Our mission is critical for children and families of Florida, and we need your talent on our ambitious team! This is a professional position that handles all aspects of web-based applications. In this role, you will provide support to both internal and external websites, directly support and train our end-users on our application systems, and collaborate with other teams and Senior Leadership to determine technical solutions and enhancements for web-based applications. In this role, you will also provide web publication standards and methodology training for Department employees and will design, implement, and maintain integration with Content Management solutions. Additionally, The Front-end Web Developer provides support for agency development of graphics and design, gathers metrics for internal and external websites, and monitors user experience (UX) and identifies areas for improvement. DCF is looking for someone with the ability to work independently and have strong problem-solving abilities and possesses the ability to communicate across various departments - both technical and non-technical.
