The position requires performing complex analysis, design, development, testing, and support for assigned applications, overseeing daily issue tracking, and participating in application analysis and impact analysis of changes. The role also involves providing advanced application support and guidance to end-users, serving as a point of contact for application problems, assessing issues, and identifying resolutions. Developing testing scripts, participating in testing, and making recommendations with some guidance are key duties. The analyst will prepare various types of documentation, including application documentation, analytical reports, functional specifications, training manuals, and status reports. Project involvement includes planning discussions, assisting with cost estimations, time frames, staffing requirements, and preparing cost justifications. The role also oversees and assists in application design under change management and user development requests, and prepares complete application documentation for operations, setting programming specifications and assisting in developing departmental policies and procedures related to clinical application use.
