This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications, particularly those supporting payroll, Medicaid billing, and data exchange processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll systems and operations, be familiar with Medicaid billing portals, and possess a general IT background with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Experience with payroll systems or payroll operations.
  • General IT background with experience in application support, troubleshooting, and system configuration.
  • At least two years of business software support experience.
  • At least two years of relational database / SQL experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to thoroughly investigate issues.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Medicaid billing portals
  • Experience with EDI file handling and processing
  • Experience with Postman

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to payroll, Medicaid billing, and data exchanges (EDI files).
  • Investigate, diagnose, and document technical issues, working closely with software engineers, ETL developers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the payroll and billing teams to identify and resolve system-related discrepancies.
  • Configure and maintain application settings as needed.
  • Participate in the development and execution of testing plans for system changes, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status, resolution timelines, and system updates.
  • Assist with the creation of technical documentation for internal use.
