As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. The Application Support Analyst is the support contact for non-Epic applications used by the Conemaugh Health System. Requires coordination with other team members and organizational subject matter experts to support an integrated EHR. Will be responsible for system configuration, builds, testing, report development and implementing updates to to the various information systems. Will provide off-hours and on-call support. The Analyst maintains foundational compliance systems, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting functionality. Assists with risk assessment, work plans, and reporting by gathering data, preparing dashboards, and drafting analyses for leadership review. Monitors regulatory updates, supports due diligence reviews, and helps coordinate education and training delivery and participation tracking, all while contributing to a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the analysis and documentation of business systems. Operates as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department. Mentors end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred or 5 or more years of healthcare experience with a minimum of two (2) years of related or transferable Compliance/ Risk experience required.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare preferred.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

  • Completes routine activities related to system management and maintenance
  • 1st level support for end user application issues related to access/roles
